The Nutcracker Two Ways
Symphony Orchestra with Symphonic Winds, 7 O’Clock Jazz, and Jazz Orchestra will be presenting music from The Nutcracker with special musical guest, Victor Goines. Hear Tchaikovsky's original suite alongside Duke Ellington's famous 1960 jazz adaptation.
Tickets are $17 for adults, $5 for students (10+), and free for children 9 and under. Proceeds will help cover the cost of our guest musician who will be holding clinics with our students in the days leading to the concert.
This community event will be sprinkled with various ensemble performances before the concert and during intermission. Light snacks will be provided. A photo station will be set up - take a wintry picture with props! For additional fun, there will be a raffle for two special event nutcrackers. If you are able to help that night, please sign up! Volunteers will get a free ticket.
